Month in Review

Kermit the Frog sure did hit the nail on the head when he stated "it ain't easy bein' green"! Considering I just turned a month old two days ago, I still consider myself fairly green (although environmentalists might disagree, considering I wear disposable diapers and only mix my formula with bottled water). Anywho...what an exhausting month it's been! To begin---I was born, and for any of you who have ever gone through this, you know what I mean when I tell you it isn't exactly a walk in the park. Then I had to do a cross-country relocation, and I'm still dealing with a bit of culture shock (New Englanders can sometimes be cranky on account of the bitter cold---Dad). Then came the holidays where I had to continuously smile for photos and be on my best behavior, and you all know how monotonous that can be. And on top of all of that, there was eating, sleeping, pooping, peeing and growing--aye dios mio!
This is kinda person information I am about to share, but since so many of you have asked, I will share my measurements with you.
12/12/09: wt: 7lb 4oz - ht: 19.7" - head size: 13"
12/15/09: wt: 6lb 14oz - ht: 19.7" - head size: 13"
12/22/09: wt: 7lb 1oz - ht: 20" - head size: 13.5"
12/28/09: wt: 7lb 11.5oz - ht: 20.5" - head size: 14"
1/12/10: wt: 9lb 2.5oz - ht: 21.25" - head size: 14.5"

So there you have it---I'm a growing boy, and I'm going to keep growing whether my Baba and Daddy like it or not! Speaking of, those two can't get enough of me. I've got to say, it's pretty cute the way they fawn all over me. Don't tell them I said this, but I think I already have them wrapped around my little finger... Here's a nice pic of the three of us:

So my parents have started to complain about missing the "good ol' days of getting 8 hours of sleep"---what wimps, who needs that much sleep all at once?! I prefer 2-4 hours at a time, and then I like to be awake for a good 1-3 hours in between. With that said, I should probably log off now, so the glare of the computer screen doesn't keep them up much longer. I promise to update you again very soon---here's one more cute pic of me for the road!

My Daddy thinks I could be a movie star!

He even emailed all of the casting agents in Boston to show them just how cute I am! Casting agents, if you are checking out my blog right now, I'm sure you agree I have leading man looks. I'm ready for my close-up!

I'm growing cuter everyday!

OK people, my poor dad has been getting lots of complaints that it's been FOREVER since I've posted, and while I know that's true, you've got to cut me some slack, growing up is hard to do!

I've been really busy sucking down bottles, sleeping, and getting my stinky diapers changed. My fingers might be long (as everyone keeps saying), but they're still small, so typing takes me a while. Anywho, sorry for the long wait, but finally, here's another entry to show you how darn cute I am! A partial review of the past 2.5 weeks...

We had a great plane ride home on American Airlines. My Baba saved up all his miles and we got to fly 1st class! Because of this, I made sure to be extra-good. I didn't wail once, even during the three diaper changes in that tiny airplane bathroom, and I didn't even wiggle when my dads were sipping on their celebatory 'flight home cocktails'---I think they should travel 1st class with me more often!

When we arrived at Logan Airport, Nahnah and Grampy were there to meet me for the first time, and they were SO excited! They wouldn't stop hugging and kissing and holding me, but that's OK, I really liked all the attention...and it hasn't stopped since! Later that day I got to meet Mum (my great grandma), and she is the greatest! Doesn't she look so happy and beautiful in the picture where she is holding me for the first time? She is so excited to finally have a great-grandchild.

Oh yeah, and how can I forget the dogs? For some reason, they are not very interested in me, but my dads think that is good, at least they aren't showing jealously (which is kinda weird, I mean, helloooo, look at how cute I am, who wouldn't be jealous???) Benson really doesn't like posing with me as you can see in the first picture where they're meeting me for the first time; Maggie is sometimes willing...

A couple days after we returned to Massachusetts, I had my first appointment with my doctor, and I love her! Although I wasn't very happy when she put the cold metal thingie on me.

That same day, I got to my Auntie Ann---have you ever seen her smile so big?

OK, I'm tired and am going to wrap up this posting, but I promise to write again soon to tell you all about the holidays---stay tuned!
